How to donate to my trip!

Thank you for reading my first blog post.  Please see directions below if you are interested in donating to the cost of my trip.

 Step One: Go to www.childrensglobalalliance.org

Step Two: Click “Donate” tab at the top of page. Then click on yellow Donate button

Step Three: Enter amount to donate and decide to use Paypal or a credit/debit card

Step Four: Below amount, click “Add special instructions to seller” and type student/recipient’s full name

Step Five: Enter card information, billing information and contact information

Step Six: Click “Donate Now” Button!

Blog #3 My takeaway from this experience. This week went by in a blur. I tested my limits on energy in the classroom spending all my time creating a great experience for my students. After we pulled through our final day of teaching, we came home to prepare for the party. The party was very interesting and equally crazy. It started off casual as students started coming in and we greeted them. We took plenty of photos with each other and they conversed with the best English they could (I’m glad to say that their English had improved!) Then, at a particular time in the party, we told everyone that the snack bar was open which consisted of a very large assortment of chips and candies. It was at this point that kids went out of control! From across the schoolyard to the band area kids came running like this snack bar was a giant magnet. Instantly they were piling over each other grabbing as much stuff as they could and running out with multiple bags of chips shoved between their arms.

Hello! My name is Kyla! I am a freshman at Battle Mountain High School and currently, I am participating in a club called Spilled Ink. In Spilled Ink, we get to draw, write and do some photography. We draw many things and right now we are working on Thanksgiving themes. We are also writing poems about certain subjects. Last week, we wrote poems about vampires. One of my favourite things we do is photography and I love submitting pictures of fall! Those are some of my favourite things to do. When I'm not at school, I am hanging out with my friends or playing with my cats. I have two cats named Noodles and Pesto. Yes, I know they're named after food. It's a long story I can tell a different day. The trip I will be going on is to Morocco which is a country in Northern Africa. In Morocco, we will be teaching English to several students and helping out at Abde Salan Middle School. We will also be participating in home visits to meet families and make new friends. Ch
